A group of top travel writers from Canada is enjoy a fact-finding visit in Northern Ireland, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI.
The writers – representing a number of Canadian media outlets, including the Toronto Sun newspaper – checked out some of the many things to see and do here for Canadian holidaymakers. Their itinerary included a Game of Thrones Experience in Castle Ward and Culture Night in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.

Tourism Ireland is rolling out an extensive programme of promotions in Canada this autumn – which includes co-operative promotions with key airline and tour operator partners, email marketing and social media promotions, as well as online advertising on popular websites. And, our publicity programme in Canada this year will generate positive coverage for the island of Ireland worth more than £6.6 million.
